Last week our English Class 10d and 10e felt different — in the best possible way. Today we celebrated diversity with a breakfast that was so much more than food.
Under the guidance of Mr. Henningsen and Ms. Philippi, each student created a stand representing their culture, complete with a presentation, traditional dishes, activities, and meaningful cultural items.
What unfolded was a real success. The confidence on the students' faces, the care they took in explaining their traditions, and the respect they showed each other was deeply moving. 
As teachers, our hearts are full. We are incredibly proud of what our students pulled off and even prouder to see them celebrating their identities and each other.
